Bloodwood Tree Association is an incorporated, not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation based in South Hedland. Bloodwood Tree provides services for the homeless, unemployed, those affected by alcohol and drug use, and people in need. Drug & Alcohol counselling, education, group therapies, referrals, case management and support are all a core component of our operations.
Bloodwood Tree Association is expanding and as a result a number of positions are available.

Duties that are required:Â
Supporting and assisting Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander individuals and families based in Hedland, who aspire and have the capacity to move towards home ownership, assistance to break down barriers that prevent them from moving towards home ownership, support for tenancy, employment and/or paid training and supporting participants to achieve the programs outcomes.
 Experience in purchasing a home or interest in home ownership is desirable.
Following essential skills are required:Â
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Administrative and organisational skills.Â
- Ability to manage time effectively.Â
- The ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with clients.Â
- Working knowledge of up-to-date computer systems, including Microsoft office applications.
- Willingness to obtain National Police Certificate, Working with Children’s, and Senior First Aid.
- WA ‘C’ Class Driver’s Licence.
