Bloodwood Tree Association is an incorporated, not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation based in South Hedland. Bloodwood Tree provides services for the homeless, unemployed, those affected by alcohol and drug use, and people in need. Drug & Alcohol counselling, education, group therapies, referrals, case management and support are all a core component of our operations.
Bloodwood Tree Association is expanding and as a result a number of positions are available.

Duties that are required:
- Provide and operate an effective Financial Capability service to clients in the community.
- Assist individuals and families to build self-reliance, improve living standards and well being by improving financial and social function through increasing financial literacy and money management capacity.
- Design, develop and deliver target service activities as follows:
- Provide priority access to clients participating in income management, where appropriate;
- Ensure clients have access to basic financial literacy, education and support;
- Deliver one-on-one budgeting support to individuals; and/or non-accredited financial literacy community education workshops to clients and local groups;
- Help clients to build skills to avoid or resolve financial difficulties and strengthen their capacity to manage their money;
- Assist families at risk of homelessness to manage their finances and household expenses in order to prevent future accommodation crises;
- Be responsible for client assessment, file maintenance and referral services and provide timely reports as required.
