Bloodwood Tree Association is an incorporated, not-for-profit Aboriginal organisation based in South Hedland. Bloodwood Tree provides services for the homeless, unemployed, those affected by alcohol and drug use, and people in need. Drug & Alcohol counselling, education, group therapies, referrals, case management and support are all a core component of our operations.
Bloodwood Tree Association is expanding and as a result a number of positions are available.

Duties that are required: Â
Assist a small team of three staff to:
- deliver educational workshops,
- provide administration support;
- book sessions and calendar control of the small team of three through outlook calendar.
- Assist with planning and bookings for outreach trips to Marble Bar, Newman and Tom Price.
- Assist in the development and production of culturally appropriate education resources and materials
 Following essential skills are required:
- Possess good written reporting and verbal communication skills.
- Be able to give good customer service skills.
- Possess computer skills and experience with databases, word processing and spreadsheets and other Microsoft programs.
- The ability to work with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
- Possess the ability to communicate effectively with clients, local business, Government, and other non-government agencies.
- Be able to work in a team environment.
- Willingness to obtain police certificate, working with children, first aid certificate.
- Hold a current Western Australia ‘C’ driver’s licence.Â
