The Dhurrung Wunggurrwil Family Violence Aboriginal Program aims to assist families who are experiencing, or have experienced, family violence to receive culturally safe support within a holistic framework. The role of the Case Manager involves safety planning, assessment using the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment and Management (MARAM) tool, short-term and/or intensive case management, advocacy and providing outreach services to families in a culturally safe space.
WRISC works closely with the Ballarat and District Aboriginal Co-Op (BADAC) and other services as part of an integrated response to family violence, and the successful applicant will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with partner organisations and colleagues.
If you have relevant qualifications and experience and want to make a difference for Aboriginal women and children who have been, or are still being impacted by family violence, then contact us. Specific details regarding how to apply are available on our website. Applications must be sent to applications@wrisc.org.au.Â
